Preparing for Corporate Worship  -  Sunday, April 20, 2025
Services at 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM

Dear Friends,

Many blessings to you as we prepare for great rejoicing tomorrow!

We will have a profession of faith and a musical offering by the Board family!

I would suggest reading Luke 24 for Easter Sunday morning. We won't take the time to add that reading to the two other morning readings we will do on Easter, but the Luke passage is very helpful for understanding our sermon text.

Our sermons will be from Acts 13. In the morning Acts 13.13-41 (text 32, 33) and in the evening Acts 13.42-52. We have truth to tell and we need to know what to expect will be the results of that truth.
Peace in the crucified and risen Jesus Christ!
May the Lord bless us together in His house

-MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE

------------------------

Scripture Reading: Matthew 28.1-10; Acts 13.13-41

 Text: Acts 13.32-33a

Message:     “What Witnesses Tell Today”

Theme: The gospel Word we tell the world-in-death is resurrection-in-Jesus Christ

1. We know because we have been told

2. God’s promise is fulfilled for us

3. The gospel Word is spoken: Resurrection!

---------------------------------

EVENING WORSHIP SERVICE

Scripture Reading: Acts 13.42-52

Text: Acts 13.48

Sermon:      “What Witnesses Expect Today”

Theme: When the gospel is preached, some reject while others repent

1. In both cases, the gospel is the same

2. All who reject do so because they want to

3. Those who believe do so because God willed it

             --------------------------------

Please pray for one another and for our gathering to celebrate the salvation given to us by Jesus Christ. May the Lord bless and care for each of you and your family members.

Please pray that all would be done to the glory of the Lord and for our good. Pray for strength

May our kind and strong God bless and keep each of you toward the Lord's day upcoming.

Please pray that each ear will be open, all hearts soft to receive, and our hands and feet and mouths ready to respond to all our God tells us.

---------------
Would you all commit to pray for the peace of the Lord to calm the hearts of those who are facing some turmoil and challenge right now? As we know, the enemy is ever busy trying to draw our attention away from the joy of the Lord in the salvation Jesus has won for us. Pray that Jesus would increase in all things in our minds and hearts!

May you have a fruitful day and a joy about returning to the house of the Lord!

It will be a blessing to see you in church. Let's pray that the Lord is glorified in our gathering together and we each are edified in Christian truth

May each of you know His great mercy!

May the Lord receive the honor and glory from everything we do.

May the Lord richly bless each of you as you prepare for the Lord's day.

--------------

Please be much in prayer for worship on the Lord's day

---------------
There is no better place to be on Sunday!
