Meet Our Pastor
Reverend Harold Miller
Pastor Miller and his dear wife Carol have five grown children and are rejoicing to be
adding grandchildren to their family! The Millers had served two other congregations
of the URCNA before taking up the charge here in Oak Lawn – one in Iowa and then
in Kansas City. Pastor Miller was ordained to the ministry in 2001 after earning his
Master of Divinity degree from Mid-America Reformed Seminary.
Pastor Miller has a rich love for the Reformers and Puritans and is convinced that the
same heart for ministry held by such men of their day takes hold of faithful men of
our day. The emphasis of hearty preaching, fulsome teaching, sacrificial pastoral care
of the flock, enthusiastic evangelism, all for the glory of God is his passion and purpose.
There is joy in the forgiveness we have in Jesus Christ and in the life lived in step with
the Holy Spirit. This joy is experienced in the setting of congregational “life together,"
where we help one another on the journey to glory.
We warmly welcome each and every one of you to join us as together we seek His face
and strive to live for His glory in the forgiveness of sins provided by Jesus Christ!
